Biosample Hub actively reaches out to biotech companies around the world. So we can bring you into contact with many biotechs you will not have encountered before. This can bring many benefits to non-commercial biospecimen providers, including improved cost recovery and biosample utilization, as well as demonstrating productivity and support for valuable research.

On the Biosample Hub platform companies and biorepositories can find each other and get in direct contact. Biosample Hub staff will also introduce you when needed. For example, if a biotech company submits a sample request and we think you can help, then we will let you know. Direct communication brings many benefits – it is easier to make arrangements like setting up prospective collections. It is also easier to understand each other’s needs. The platform includes all kinds of tissue biorepository and tumour bank, with disease-based and genetic biobanks.

We put biorepositories and companies in direct contact. So, the provider knows the identity of the end-user, and this facilitates full sample traceability. So the biobank manger can ensure that samples are only used in accordance with the patient’s wishes.

This platform is run by a not-for-profit company with no shareholders. So, we reinvest any financial surpluses into the company. Any transactions between the company and the biobank are independent of the platform. Furthermore, Biosample Hub does not charge any commission.
